Corrugated metal any scale

Got a thing here that works forme: making corrugated metal any size:

1. take the lid of tin foil cat food container, butter container as llong as you have decent thick aluminum foil, food tray foil is too thick.
2. stretch foil ,cut in strips of say 4 scale feet wide and lay it on a piece of balsa (soft) wood
3. embosscorrugate imprint by dragging a piece of fine allthread over that foil.
4 scale ruler, xacto knife and some custom cutting of a vast supply of plates.
5. glue on any surface (dull side up !) with white glue and voila, your hot tin roof will be ready for the model cat

Better to be roughly right, than to be exactly wrong...

And when you do what you did, you'll get what you got!

Not a bad idea , I've tried this method before and with not much luck producing sheet metal.
I did make a huge mess and destroyed my wifes foil roll. She wasn't to happy about me goofing off in the kitchen.

Thanks for the tip.........
