BLI: Two Thumbs UP
Posted by Fergmiester on Friday, April 7, 2006 6:41 AM
As some of you may remember my BLI Mikado threw a rod about 6 weeks ago. The end result was a chewed up gear and a loco that skipped down the tracks.

ANyway to make a long story short I called BLI about a week later and explained the problem and told them I had been given the train a year ago Christmas so the Warranty was expired.

The parts came yesterday

No Charge!

All I can say is "Thank You Very Much" They affirmed a loyal customer.

Hey, Fergie, I am happy for you. It sucks having a loco down for things like that, especially the fine BLI's. I sent my NYC J1 back to them within weeks of getting it because I had broken a pickup in the tender trying to clean it. Three weeks, and a whopping $7.00 later, it was back in perfect order.

I have four BLI's and (knock on wood) have had nary a problem to date. But it is good to know their Customer service is as good as their products.

Good for you!

I have to say they did a good job on my Reading T1. I had written that engine off and they were able to fix it. The overall communication just rocks.
