You hit the nail squarely on the head, Dave. Couldn't have said it better myself. The fumes from fingernail polish remover make my daughter faint too. Tom Russell, don't be shy, feel free to chime in!

P.S. Nothing quite as satisfying as a tightly focused forum thread, I always say!

Does anyone out there know where I might find a driver for an Aztec 2316R sound card to suit WIndows 3.11? Trying to turn an old 486 into a streaming MP3 player[:o)]

Way cool! I'm guessing that Alaska and the Hawaiian Islands were missing too. Would I be safe in assuming that you waxed the car afterwards??

I hear ya! I love cats too. But I HATE when cat hair gets all over the place. And ham sandwiches are better for lunch than a bowl of Captain Crunch, don't you think??? Which reminds me: I once had a raw potato that looked JUST LIKE an Alco RS-3. No kidding!

Relax. One of the oldest sayings on the internet is "Drift Happens". People have been complaining about thread topic drift for over a decade, and it's not going to change now.

If it gets out of hand, that's what moderators are for. If you have a complaint, contact the moderator.

If you think this is bad, try posting on rec.models.railroad. There are no moderators on r.m.r, but then, it doesn't shut down and is not beholden to any corporate entity like Atlas, Kalmbach, Yahoo, or anyone else. It's the closest thing one can get to "free speech" on the internet.
