Tower 55-BNSF ES44DC

Just received my tower 55 bnsf es44dc in the new logo. Looks awesome, great details. Sound is great also. (prime mover sounds, air dryer ticks, and air compressor all on time scattered intervals) great sounding 5 chime horn. You can program your cv's to increase or decrease sound and shorten or lengthen intervals between time scattered sounds. I highly recommend Tower 55. Who else has a Tower 55? Tell me what you think and how are you customizing you sound?

Just got mine this morning....I only have access to a club layout so i won't get to run it for a while as my club schedule doesn't work with my work schedule. Hence why I'm posting at 2 in the morning. Hopefully it's a nice as I've hoped. it sure is good looking from the outside. I've purchased two AC6000 from Overland brass and this looks almost as good.

Ill wait till Athearn or Kato to come out with theirs. Tower55's are seriously over Priced.

I have three T55s--UP ES44AC and two BNSF ES44DCs. The first two were great but as posted elsewhere, the third one had a number of small paint chips on the brass handrails. I wrote Tower 55 and the CEO offered to replace it, which was very gracious. I am willing to cut T55 some slack as the first run of anything is bound to have some teething problems, but with their prices, they should try to QA their units more thoroughly.

I don't have the sound units but the "Pioneer" ones are quite nice. They probably are overpriced as Allan said, but sadly, none of the others like Atlas or Athearn Genesis are signing up to do Tier 2 units. A rich man's hobby is becoming even more so--at least for us modern day modellers.
