Bought my first US model train today

It's a Lifelike FA2 that I want to use as a basis for an EMU.

The price was pretty darn good too. £19.09 ($32.94) for a new, under warranty model including postage from the US to the UK.

I may well consider a US-based layout if I can get models for anything like that price on a regular basis. [;)]

I like the Life Like trains, very reasonable. They arent the limosine of locomotives, but they serve the purpose that i use them for well. If i am showing my trains, ill use Kato for the most part. But for fun.. life like has all that i need. Put some pics from your layout up so we can see, im sure theres a few of us that would like to see you building your US layout if you choose to.
