The original gag idea was amusing, but I think they overplayed their "hand."

Back in the (not so) good old days, I actually built a 5DCC railroad. Rolling stock was built of bits of wood and cardstock, to a scale of 1:192. During the immediate post-WWII period, that was about all this middle-schooler could afford.

But it was FUN!!!
