Trainz 2006

I have the copy of this software game for PC and I must say it is very wonderful! Cheap too. I think I paid 20 dollars for it. It should be closer to 50, but who is complaining?

All I have done to day was an activity where you took a narrow gauge logging engine and 8 ore cars to a mine in the woods above the camp.

I had the train in trail so when I got to the mine was faced with a loading area in the opposite direction with no passing siding in sight. No matter, I loaded the first 4, went back towards the switch, uncoupled and put the load and the engines into the storage spur.

I attempted to "Handbrake" the last 4 empties and drift them downgrade to load but either the game does not recognize handbraking on cars or I did not use the right method. They instantly ran away and wrecked.

I could almost see a supervisior coming up the mountain from base camp to fire me. So I better put in a note and warn those with this scenario to pu***he entire cut of 8 ore cars ahead of the engine up the mountain to the mine.

I look forward to learning what others have to say about this game.

Trainz 2006 is a great game! I got it for Christmas, and it is AWESOME! I played it non-stop the first week after Christmas until it gave me a headache...And I don't know how much stuff I have downloaded for it.[:D]

[8D]It's a definite [tup][tup] from me.[8D]

I purchased my copy at Best Buy which is not normally a "Train" place. But they had it and knew there was some steam to operate in that program.

I would love to see some pure honest to gawd big american steam like the PRR J-1 2-10-4 created for Trains 2006 someday.
