Looks like a small yard I saw in central Illinois during the Penn-Central era. One track had simply vanished out of sight in the mud that had replaced the ballast.

we have some bad track here in somerville

I will try to get some shot's of it its funny
that line is up for some upgrades after years and years
Various public improvements are planned,
including a new Orange Line MBTA station within the district
