OK.............my intrrest is sparked...........the GAME IS ON..................I suck at scratch building but I want to try..............sooooooooooo For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George...........................j.w.

Seeing Tim's pictures I know I'm not going to win... But thats Ok. Cards and a tin can only for the building but can we put bushes and a path around outside the building?

It most certainly does, it's only 6 feet in diameter in G-Scale!

oops my bad, i was thinking it had to be 8 scale ft x 8 scale ft square. your right. That isn't really all that bad of an idea, you could actually make a decent shack out of a can and an index card.

My shack is only about an inch square so the only use for the can is to hold my drink while working on it!

I built one in HO scale Saturday, but I have to get a photo of it to post. I only used index cards, no aluminum can at all. I also used a bit of discarded plastic sprue to make a chimney for the stove. I'm just breaking the rules right and left. Watch out, I'm a renegade.

Mine is getting close to being done. I have put siding on it. Door and window frames, rolled roof, and I even made a stove pipe by rolling a small piece of notecard around a tooth pick and glued the seam. Then I made the cone by using a hole punch then slicing halfway into the circle punchout and rolled it into a cone. I'm working on rafters under the roof. I'll post pictures when it is painted.

Sorry I've been away for a while (work you know!). So far the entries look great! Mine humble attempt will be done this evening.

I ought to have mentioned that the first place winner gets to buy each us a new Challenger in whatever scale we model.[:D]

Here is my submission. Now keep in mind that I have never scratchbuilt anything before. Actually, I haven't even put a building kit together yet. But somehow, I felt the overwhelming urge do participate in this project. It is 1" square and about 1 1/4" tall. It was brush painted with acrylics and weathered with a very dilute wash of black acrylic. It was, I think, a good way to crack the barrier, and actually start building structures. Enjoy. Sorry for the picture quality.
