Translation please?

Pile your trains in a big heap in the center of the layout and take a photo - world's largest heap!

I think I like the roundhouse shot
its a spot the fleet will congregate

I only have dbl track and no yard setup at this time

think I will setup a overcrowded small yard shot

You could take some unsolicited onterators and pile them on the drensing columate and get a great emication. Works for me.

Take one of each and pick your favorite. What are you going to waste, electrons?

Displayed on a shelf with a bunch of stuff in the way so we can't see the trains, was not one of your poll choices![:D][:D]

Bud,
I can understand your time restraint as it seems you're hoping to reach 1K posts before your 2/15 anniversary date but some things just take as long as they take and there's no way around that.

Seems if you had a yard built you'd have the possibility of creating the scene you want. Why not get a handful of flex track or shorter pieces and just fake a yard for the photos? It would satisfy the need and might provide inspiration for your future modelling efforts.

Old RR publicity photos often show loco's lined up side by side. Lining them up "bumper to bumper" would be the scrapper's torch photo. I voted side by side or "line abreast". Of course, the pile in the center could be scrapper's view, as well.....
