Yes it is a Ford. 198 ci four banger. Ingnition system is still intact. You can turn the engine by hand. It needs new wood, new canvas curtains, two pieces of glass, all electrical, cooling and fuel components cleaned and tested, some minor body work done. Also needs some lighting and of course a diesel horn and a steam whistle. Then I need to join a club and put 'er on the rails. It has not run since 1988, when my father in law bought it. It did run when he parked it.
I like it better than the Onan engined ones. Since this is like the 2.3 pinto engine, and has a 4 speed tranny, I can work in it with out much of a learning curve since I used to rebuild car engines and trannies while in high school and college.
My father inlaw gave it to me. He has a bunch of M19's also and is part of the MOW in California. He also has one that is powered by a hit n miss with a drive belt. It does not run, though.
What do you have?
