I finally got the paint on the work caboose I've been working on since the summer. As some of you who read the original thread (Critiques please) I made a work caboose out of a Southern RR flatcar and UP caboose. After painting it is now an Alaska RR work caboose (after application of decals) to go with my short Alaska RR work train.
Here are the pics: (I'm sorry I still have the 1.2 MP camera...so the pics aren't the clearest)
The side that doesn't have overspray [:I]
This side unfortunately has some overspray that will be touched up.
The flat car end of the car.
Finally the caboose end of the car.
The decals will just be reporting marks along with an ARR symbol.
If you're interested in seeing the original car before paint you can see the pictures at http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=8300661&uid=3783191&members=1.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
