Posted by Anonymous on Friday, December 30, 2005 7:13 PM
I have my layout all Planed otut using Atlas's Right Track Software ( except layering, but i prefer to scetch that by hand)
I try to tell it to eather print or print setup and it gives me and error saying "sclected printer invaliad" What do i do so that i can print my layout?

But the weird thing is the printer works and other things will print, even a new Right Track file, I atleast want to find a way to print my layout somehow, it took me to long for me to start over~

If all else fails, save RTS file as a *.bmp * . and open it in MS paint and print from there. I use RTS and once I have plan drawn I save it to a .bmp so that I can add color to terrain.

Ok, first of all calm down! You need to check make sure the printer is set to the default. To do this go down to the start button, then to settings, then click on printers and faxes or if that isn't a choice select the control panel and get to it from there. This should pull up another box. If you have more than one printer the default one is checked marked, if the one you are trying to use isn't, or none of the printers have a check mark by them you need to change it. Select the printer you are trying to use and right click on it then click "set as default". This is most likely a printer problem. I am not sure you can do this next one, but try it anyways.
If that then fails try this, I am not sure if you can even do this (you do have Adobe Acrobat don't you?). Go and try and print it, but for you printer select "Acrobat PDF writer" as your printer this will then save the document as a PDF which you can then print separately through Acrobat.
