I want To Introduce Myself,
My name is Robert and I model railroads and trams that are 2ft or less in gauge.
I presently have 2 Gn15 layouts indoors, one micro which I display at model train shows and a 9'x13' home layout. And, a 7/8n2 garden layout in the works.
Gn15 is G (1/2" scale) running on HO track.
7/8n2 is 7/8" scale running on 45mm track.
I have been modeling trains about 35 years now. And have modeled in most scale s over the years. About 20 years ago I got bit by the narrow gauge bug and never looked back. The narrower the gauge the better.

Good to have some variety here, Robert. We are mostly HO, some On30, High Rail, O, and the occasional G. Since we share a common love of toy trains, Ifind that we all have something to say worth hearing. Your imput would be most welcome.

Welcome!

Hi Robert and welcome aboard [#welcome].

I do believe what you are doing is unique here, which is a good thing.

And despite what Crandell says, we have quite a few N-scalers, too. [(-D][(-D]
And right about now, Crandell is thinking about adding "except Mark" to the statement about all of us having something to say worth hearing!

There has been talk about, Someone have already done it. But taking a On30 shay and converting to Gn15, Would make the shay very small. Like around 3-4 ton.

Welcome and I suspect the forum is going to be a big help for someone who is modeling in a scale which is a bit off the routine. Sometimes getting information about 'regular" stuff can be difficult but when your interest lies in a specialized area it should be especially helpful to see large numbers of folks view your postings.
