Go figure
Hitting the mark though caused me to reflect on just how far of come in the garage.
In 500 days...

I got my second layout. Walk around style.[;)]
My DCC with 2 cabs.
A Nice BLI Cab Foawrd to the collection. [8D]
I went from 13 peices of rolling stock to 58.
I now airbrush for weathering.
I am haveing vistors to my layout [:)]
SD-45-2T. I know what this is, and it is not a combonation to a lock
I am now running operations.
I understand operations.
I know more about decoders, frequency, and dualmode more than the guy a the hobby shop.
I make my own trees.
Ha! I can scratchbuild.[^]
I,know Kadee......well.
I am now into heavy [}:)]metal....wheels that is.
Dull Cote is not that old jacket from college.

And, I have made alot of freinds. Been helped, and hopefully,. helped a few others on the way. I am really looking foward to the next 500

Good for you on all you've learned / gained in the hobby in the past 500 days.

As far as your post count goes - being proud of that is like being proud of not going poo-poo in you pants anymore - at 21 years of age.

Hey! He can certainly be proud of the contributions he has made at the forum. Its not so much the number of posts but the value of the interaction with other MR enthusiasts. I would venture that what canazar has learned here has contributed to all the other things he has reflected on in a very big way.

Thanks guys. A year ago I never thoguht I would have, or be where I am now with the whole modeling thing. it is great, and I cant wait to see what the next year will bring.

As I see it, He isn't 'proud' of his 500, it was more of a statement of what he (and others can) has learned because of the forum.[:D]
