"Picture of the day"
Posted by FastTracks on Saturday, December 17, 2005 12:25 PM
Hi All,

A few weeks ago I added a new "Picture of the day" section to the front page of my Port Kelsey weblog. A new picture is added every morning (well, almost every morning) and will contain mostly railroad related pictures I have taken, and the occasional image from others.

I have found over the years that the sites that are the most interesting are ones that change often, and the addition of a picture of the day should help keep the blog fresh in interesting (I hope) I think it might be of interest to others too, have a peek....

Here is a sample image, to "whet your appetite".....

Inside the cab of one of CN 5700's. For some reason this forum resizes the images, and doesn't always make the full size one clickable, no idea why. The full size version is on the blog if this one doesn't work- Tim

Sounds like a very cool idea. I will start looking at your site more often.

Regarding the picture. If the picture height is for example 400 pixels and the width is less then 400 pixels, it will not get any bigger when you click it. A solution is to add a empty area to the picture so the picture is 400 x 400 pixels. I hope that was you problem [:D]
