Oh, so much....I am always taking out the main in one way or another, like accidentally breaking a bridge while trying to fix a problem, them all my cars just sit in my yard....it's hard, especially when I didn't have a computer

That looks pretty good! I like the ballasting job, but here's a little criticsm. After all, sounds like you would be working on it.
A: Paint the track (I usually do this before ballasting)
B: Landscape seems too smooth-more texture.
Hope this is helpful.

i was in a similar sitiation for 8 days. i only ordered 1box of cork roadbed and instead of leaving the track alone and running w/ no roadbed i laid what i had which only did half the mainline..i promptly ordered more and got up and running again[:D]in 8 days

I think it looks great...just the way it is! Nice ballasting, and if you want to weather it later, it will be a snap.

Looking good Carl! I too am in the process of painting my track, then I hope to do all the ballasting BEFORE I repopulate my layout with rolling stock - I have a few locos on it for testing purposes, though. I agree it feels good to just sit back and run a train on it once a while, all work + no play = burnout!
