DCC control for Walthers Cornerstone Series Motorizing Kit?

I'm plannng to use Walthers 90' turntable with their motorizing kit. I've seen it run using a 3 volt supply (nice and slow operation), and wonder if I can power it using a standard mobile decoder with V-MAX set to 3 volts?
