Woodland Scenics Mod-U-Rail
Posted by csmith9474 on Monday, November 28, 2005 1:38 PM
The wife thinks that the Mod-U-Rail system would be good for us for several reasons (one of the biggest is that I can get them wholesale). I was curious about the best support structure for the modules. Is it best to "hang" them on the wall, or can legs be easily crafted for them. Any input is greatly appreciated.

The easiest support would be from the Mod-U-Rail Stands that woodland scenics sells.

QUOTE: The stands are ready to assemble with instructions and all the necessary hardware. We even pre-drilled the holes. Each stand is 35 1/2 " tall. The adjustable feet allow you to level the stand

Otherwise, you could create some L-girders and hang them on the wall pretty easily.

Good luck they look like a pretty painless way to get going quickly.[tup]

Thanks a bunch. I was under the impression that you had to design your own supports. I am not too swift with the scenery, so after talking with some folks, we decided this is the way to go.
