(and there should be no ambiguity this time) [8)]

What do the letters “CNAMR” designate?

1. Cargill-North America Molasses Railcar tanker.

2. Canadian National/ AMerican Railway, a computer program developed by the Canadian National to simulate the probable effects of a merger between CN and each of the four largest American RR’s.

3. Name of a coal unit train running full from the North Antelope mine in the PRB to a power plant on the Meramec River.

4. Chattanooga, Nashville and Mississippi Railroad, which later became part of the Southern Railway (now NS).

Have fun!

ANSWER: #3

CNAMR:

C = Coal train

NA = from the North Antelope mine (in the Powder River Basin)

MR = going to Meramec River power plant, “a Mississippi tributary close to St. Louis.”

Thanks for playing!

Being old is when you didn't loose it, it's that you just can't remember where you put it.

Wow, that was a toughie! And I just missed it! Thanks for that tidbit, which I am now obliged to forget as I have some physics equations to learn.
