New Rail Joiners---At Last!

I wi***his were true. Are there any good ideas from the panel on how to co-exist with these critters?[:(!]

Yes - hand-lay your track and don't use them. At all. Requires feeders every piece of rail though. Next time, I will definitely pre-curve the rail using a rail bender and possibly butt solder my rail joints on curves - getting the joints on curves to line up without kinks was too much work without these steps.

What problems are you having with them? If they're loose, you can solder them. I've found a few N-gauge ones mixed in with my HO's, which kind of reminded me of pulling a pair of pants out of the closet to discover "they shrunk."
