Sent a letter by post to Kato parts followed by 2 emails about missing parts on 1 of my locos, 1 month for the letter and 1 week for the emails, still no reply. This is the first time Iv'e dealt with Kato about a problem,. Has anyone else had the same treatment?

Try calling them : 847-781-9500. Ask for the Service Department. I have called them numerous times over the years with good results. Don't forget, they say "Kah-toe" not "Kay-toe"[:D].

Thanks, I'll give it a try on Monday. I would still like to hear if anyone has had problems.

Ash for Leon. He use to run a local hobby shop in the next burb over.

Generally Cat -o doesn't make mistakes. Perhaps this was a loco that may have been returned
to the seller and then resold to you in which case it could run you a few $bucks.
They do close down for lunch Central time, between 12: noon & 1:00PM.
