THANKS to Walthers parts/service

I purchased a GP9 Trainline about a year ago. It always had a growl to it and after fiddling around quite a bit, i couldn't make it go away.
I suspected the flywheel was out of balance or out of round. I called Walthers parts/service the other day and was very suprised that Larry would send me a new motor with flywheel, no charge.
Thanks to Walthers and Larry, worked like a charm. Runs quiet and smooth now. Nice to see this support behind a product.

Well, two things: good for you for your methodical approach, and then your courteous one too Walthers, and good for Walthers. I'm happy to hear a success story.

bobwrght, glad to hear that! but i am not surprized. i know alot of people bash walthers, and true, they are a little higher then others on most things, but i have had nothing short of the BEST service from them. only once they shorted me on a passenger car, i just picked up the phone, the service rep was VERRY nice, and three days latter it was in MY hands.[^] other than that, i have ALWAYS got whatever i ordered within 4-5 days.[;)]
