Model Questions...

Is the Bombardier turbine essential an Acela locomotive without the pantographs? Being such, would it be easy to kitbash? Has anyone tried? Has anyone produced an N scale model?

Prototype Questions...

Is the Bombardier turbine used any? I haven't heard much about it, so I am assuming that it wasn't a great success. And with gas prices the way they are, a gas guzzling turbine wouldn't be too economical. What happened to it?

Turbines, turbines, turbines...[:D]

I've not kitbashed it but yes, it is an Acela carbody with a turbine powerplant.

(It is also a dead issue, even before fuel costs went off the chart.)
