I make light fixtures and have a design in which I'd like to incorporate a RR crossing sign. I'd like the lights on it to flash. What voltage is required to do this? Thanks for your help.
Sincerely, Kent Samuelson

I have a REAL railroad crossing signal in my back-yard. To operate the lights, I used a step down (110VAC to 12VDC) high amperage power supply and used a can flasher that's used to fla***he warning lights on a school bus !!! The timing of the flasher is perfect.

Thanks for your help. I will use a transformer to step the line voltage (110 VAC) to 12 volts DC.
