My first invitation to do something at our train show. My local Lenz dealer invited me along to run my BLI SD40-2's and make some noise.

I had a blast, the loco's were a huge hit. The layout is a demo loop of track with some sidings at about kid height so they loved it when the trains tooted at them.

The adults oohed and arrrd over my Pioneer Zephyr. Made me feel great.

I've suggested I help next year too!! Can't wait.

Ken.

You're so right! Ken, I'm sure we're all pleased that somebody had a decent weekend...we were all rather hopeless..even going so far as to search for substitutes!

I sure hope we learned our lesson, and won't pander to the trolls next time.

I saw the all the fuss Friday nite ( my time ) and wondered why no one had posted for four hours when I logged on on Saturday nite ( my time ) then I saw the lock out.

I signed on at the other forum too.

Nice to be 'home'
