N-Scale Black River Locomotive Works?

This company existed only for about 2-3 years in the early 1990s. It was really one guy, operating the business out of Ringoes, NJ. He used to advertise in N-Scale Magazine (the Hundman magazine). He made N-Scale steam locomotive models
that weren't available anywhere else (and still aren't!) Typically, he made a mold from a commercial boiler shell, cast his shells from pewter in that mold, and modified them to
represent the prototype he was making.

Does anybody know what became of this guy? More importantly, does anybody know what became of his stockpile of parts, boilers, etc.?

He used Atlas drivers, gears, and tenders, and put Sagami can motors in them.
Because of the solid pewter shells, his models were HEAVY and could pull like a tank.
Because of the Sagami cans and the good gearing, they ran VERY smooth.

When all was said and done, these were nice models. I bought a PRR 4-4-2 from him
that still looks and runs great. He sold it as an E-6, but really, it was a much better representation of an earlier E-3 type.

As you can imagine, since these were practically hand-made, he didn't make many. I think
he only made a few hundred of the 4-4-2, and they cost about $150.

Anyway, near the end of his run, he was producing an H-10. I even bought a boiler shell off of him, which cut down and modified to make an N-Scale G-5s (10 wheeler).
