Took delivery of my first AC 6000 and it's first assignment was a pretty unglamorous one, dragging a 10,000' dead freight down the San Joaquin Valley in California.

Even with 6,000 horses it took some throttle to get moving. Looks like the local fans have shown up to check out the new power. The crew's probably getting a chuckle with all the "attention"!

Later we find it in the hole while the hot Starpacer overtakes it. (yes, a lot of liberty taken here with the eras!)

Of course this is the new BLI loco; wi***he ditch lights were in the correct location. Replaced the plow with one from Details West, and painted the handrails (I always do) Other than that, it's "out of the box". I'm happy with it overall.
