Life-Like did a very poor rendition of a 1980s era F40PH (when Caltrains was funding CalTrain). Thus, it would not match the current era. A company down in Southern California was going to do up F40PH-2s in Caltrain colors but then the company went bankrupt.
You can get current era F40PH decals from Microscale but you'll have to do up your own F40PH. There was a guy on Ebay selling a KATO version he did but I guess he sold what he had made.
As for the MP36s that pull the Bombardier coaches that Athearn makes--nobody has done them up yet. I wish someone would since I would like to have them for Metra.

I think there was a Caltrain F40PH in Bachmann's "Spectrum" line awhile back as well. BTW, you *could* take a current Amtrak engine, and simply say it's one of Caltrains. They just picked up a few former Amtrak units...some of which are still in Amtrak colors.
