Kadee Uncoupling Ramp
Posted by bbrant on Friday, September 16, 2005 5:12 AM
I found a few Kadee magnetic uncoupling ramps that I'm planning on installing on my layout. My track has already been ballasted so I'm wondering what would be the best way to install them. Should I scrape any of the excess ballast of the ties so they're perfectly flat against the ties or should I cut the ties away so that they lay flat on the subroadbed?

The Kadee Coupler Height Gage has a provision for setting these at the proper height. It should be covered in the instructions from both the gage and the uncoupler.

Clicking on the item numbers will show you installation procedures.

Thanks for the info. Since I don't have the instructions the link was very helpful and answered my questions.

Thanks again
