Coupler question
Posted by mechanic on Thursday, September 15, 2005 7:42 PM
I'm sure this is a really dumb thing to ask,but here goes.
I have a IHC 2-6-0 mogul steam loco.
It has horn hook couplers.
I want to put Kaydee's on it but I'm wondering which one is the right one?
I had a spare ez mate laying around, but the "hole" in the shank is way too big and the coupler sags alot and is very loose.
If someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great!
Thanks
Eric

Go to www.Kadee.com, click on "Conversion Info", look up IHC, then look up 2-6-0. You'll find they recommend #38 for the pilot and #28 or 38 for the tender. They also give an explaination and diagram.
