Hello iam wondering if anyone knows if you can buy proto2000 gp38-2 locomotive shells in ho scale, but just the shell not the loco with the motor and all Iam looking for a cp rail shell that is painted and everything not an undecorated shell that has to be done up?

Very doubtful. If it was released in CP Rail you might find a shell on eBay.

Very unlikely.

Ebay may be the way to go. Sometimes these units bid out at under $50, just have to be patient and continue to check.

Lifelike was very strict on the shells for Proto locos. They even had policies for exchanges that had to be the exact same shell. If you can find one grab it.

If you live in Canada, then your LHS might have CP units, not completely prototypical, but still the best on the market. They come with drives, but they are quite good. I think they were bought undecorated by some canadian company (trains canada?) and painted into CP.
