Name that font!

I am planning to get some custom made decals for my railroad, the Central Of Texas line. But rather than used the so-called "Railroad Roman" font I want to use the same style of lettering that the Norfolk & Western used on their steam power. Does anyone know what the name of this font is? Once I know the name I should be able to find it on the internet and then download into my computer`s Word program. Thanks!

You might try going to http://www.railfonts.com and see if there is a suitable font for your application. These font sets are for sale (and I am in no way connected with Railfonts), but the prices are reasonable. In a quick scan of the site, I cound not find a listing for a N&W specific font, however.

Since you stated that you plan on getting 'custom decals' made, why not check with the decaler and see if they have the font you are looking for? They may solve your riddle quickly.
