Bachmann Oil Tank/Diesel Horn
Posted by topcopdoc on Thursday, September 8, 2005 8:51 AM
I have a Bachmann Oil Tank (Shell Oil), which is missing the switch and instructions. It has 4 Gray wires coming from a circuit board. Does anyone know what current it uses and what to do with the wires to make it work?

Thanks, Doc

What's Up Doc? (sorry!) You might want to go here and ask the "Bach Man".

The two grey wires that come off the circuit board near the trimmer pot go to a momentary push button switch. the two grey wire that are on the end of the circuit board near the black wire go to the accessory terminal of your power pack.

The trimmer pot on the board will change the tone of the horn.

Hope this helps!

No prob, Doc! Glad to help! [:D]

I just happened to have one in stock at my hobby shop, so I opened the box, read the directions, and looked at the board. Simple as that!

Have fun with it!
