The ultimate topic...

What you would consider to be the ultimate #1 all time favorite model railroading topic here on the forum. Might it be DCC A-Z, layout design and construction, scenery, trains or what ?...

The best topic for me personally was Joe Fugates excellent Scenery Clinic thread, I learned more from that thread than any other, not only the info from Joe but also that offered by ALL the other members.

I still go back and review that thread when I need some info and I am impatiently waiting for the video release.

This had to be one of the most inspiring, well written and informative threads I followed from the beginning, I also used to check everytime I logged in to see if there was an update, if there wasn't I would be dissappointed.

Many thanks Joe and everyone for your contributions to this and all the threads.

Have fun & be safe,
Karl.

There are many excellent posts on this forum but Joe Fugates Scenery Clinic thread is the number one for me. That thread gave me answers to so many questions I had for years.

I think my upcoming poll about what brands of chewing gum do you chew is really gonna set the new standard. I mean, we can talk about things like "Bubble gum? No thanks, it's scenery nite." "Does Black-Jack or Sen-Sen gum have a place in HO Scale?" And the always controversial, "Is sugar-less gum appropriate during club work nights?"

I'm amazed that a forum which provides the ability to talk to so many modelers at so many levels of accomplishment has so many inane subjects and off topic rants.

Please forward your thoughts to Bergie. As for the gum. I like Trident bubble gum myself...

I don't chew gum. As a matter of fact, I don't chew ANYTHING that's stronger than my teeth!! (What few I have left!)

Darrell, gumming quietly...for now

Anything Bergie says....it IS ultimate.

My reasoning?

ul-ti-mate (adj) - 1.point beyond which it is impossible to go 2. by which a process or series comes to an end; final; conclusive 3. beyond which further analysis, division, etc., cannot be made ...final point or result.

That about sums it up, don't you think?

The Coffee Shop (celebrating a year of lousy food, but great conversation) because of how many posts it's got.

Now my favorite topics...weeeeelllll, most likely the ones with interesting stuff in them.[:)]

I would have to go with the photo fun topics. 2nd would have to be the scenery clinics or how to topics everyone does.
