Someday I want to be able to build these.

I recently bought an accumulation of HO from an estate. I now have dozens of out of production craftsman, hydrocal and plastic kits. Included were several that were built up including two by Howard Zane. I wanted to share the workmanship with you. I'll use these as a measuring stick as I built mine over the years.

I'm going to work the ice house and engine house into my layout and put the other two on display in my train room.

I bought a large accumulation of stuff and the built-ups were included in it. I exchanged emails with Howard Zane and he estimated the two that he built to be $400-500 today. The engine house is not one of Howard's. I've figured out how I can give it sort of a prominent place in the yards of my layout. It needs to be somewhere that I can remove the roof and show people the interior detail.
