Thanks for the heads-up Chuck.

Anyone who has ever shoveled snow, needs to own a copy of Battle For Donner Pass. What a great price for a great video. Wish I had gotten mine that cheaply.[swg]

Videos are now almost as cheap as dirt.
Pentrex is transferring their videos onto DVD. There really hasn't been an original
steam excursion by Pentrex is a few years.
They had some great UP's in the late 90's

I should get some more Pentrex videos, I have "Union Pacific's Mighty Turbines" and it is my favorite video.[:D]

I saw that a few weeks ago. I happily ordered a few, including the Battle for Donner pass, and you aren't kidding Big Boy! It's great! I wish I just had one of those things to do our driveway with......

I'd kinda like to get a few more, but right now the funds don't permit it(I'm getting a DCC system very soon, so).....

Some are not going to be transfered to DVD at the present , so order them now. I would name specific titles but it's a matter of National Security. Traditionally, those produced by the now defunct Video Rails are among the more interesting videos in Pentrex's archives, case in point, Battle for Donner Pass, I would also recommend the following: Spreaders, Flangers and Steam Rotary Snowplows to complete to anthology.
