Question regarding Mantua F3/F9 shell/chassis

Hi,
I just picked up a great running Mantua NYC F9 at a garage sale. The 2 steps in the rear are broken unfortunately, otherwise it's mint. Does anyone know what other shells would fit on that chassis? Mantua/Tyco seem to have the same shell listed as F3 for some roads and F9 for others. I would imagine these are swappable. Can anyone confirm that? I would really like the shell that came with it, but I'm having a tough time finding that one, I've been looking for this engine for a while.
Thanks
