2 questions about the Rivarossi Heisler's headlight bulb.

I broke the headlight while installing a decoder.

1) What kind of light bulb do I get as a replacement?

2) does it plug in, or does it have to be rewired through the post?

A golden white LED. Or a 14v miniatronics or model power bulb.

Just run wires back to the decoder. If you don't have any spare decoder wire, Radio Shack still sells spools of wire-wrap wire which is nice and small.

Randy, the wires run through a small inch long tube that has an opening about 1/16 in diameter. The bulb sits just inside the top of that tube. I doubt I could solder to wires and insulate them and get them into that space.
