Changing Scales

Hello,
I own a large collection of HO Scale trains, consisting of everything you might see in Eastern Pennsylvania from the days of the Reading Company right on through to Norfolk Southern. I find however that it is getting to small for my big, clumsy hands to handle. Also, I want to use DCS, and with 100+ HO engines, I would rather not spend the time and money installing decoders in all of them. The conventional operation of HO trains has gotten boring and unrealistic to me, especially when I see things like DCS and ProtoSound 2.0 in O scale.
I am planning to jump from HO to O Scale. I want to use primarily MTH Electric Trains. There is a local MTH dealer who I have become good friends with. MTH has the coolest O scale trains! Anybody have any thoughts or advice on this, (i.e. Opinions on MTH Trains? Think I should look to sell some/all of my HO? Good idea/bad idea?)
