Actually having a "Big engine" is pretty cool. There are many engines in my stable but only 2 or 3 that I call on when the train gets heavy.

Or you can keep adding engines until the darn train actually got moving.


A string of 0-4-0 docksides must be quite a sight dragging a heavy 100 car hoppers of coal up the grade...
