Nope. I keep track of about 500 supplement manufacturers. There are about 2000 out there.

Mustangg,

I hope that after you graduate from high school that you seriously consider attending either United Technical Institute (UTI) or Nashville Auto Diesel College (NADC). Excellent schools. Both offer 1 year of top-notch, intensive training. Jaguar, Porsche, BMW, GM, Caterpillar, VW are just a few of the companies that recruit graduates from these technical colleges.

BTW: It's no longer Auto mechanic, guy...it's Automotive Technician. Computer electronics are the new game with today's cars. Knowledge is economic power!

I know for a fact that many of the graduates from these schools that applied themselves are making between $50,000 to $80,000 per year!

Don't sell yourself short and GO FOR IT! [:)][:D][8D][;)][8)][4:-)]

Retired RR brakeman. 11 years w/ SP as opr/towerman, moved to Idaho and hired out on Milw as opr (less than briliant career move). After a year transferred into train service as brakeman and when it became obvious they were really going to shut it down (I worked 15 days the first 6 months of 1979) I hired out on the BN.

Semi-retired musician (we NEVER fully retire!). Was a professional vocal and choral accompanist both here and in Europe for about 20 years until I got tired of living out of a suitcase, then became an assistant choral director and accompanist at St. Francis High School here in Sacto, for quite a while. Retired last year, but still am active as a choral director and accompanist at my local Parish and a Catholic Retreat Center. Which means that I don't know what weekends are (hell, I never DID, LOL!).

Currently grade 10, gifted class, and after school either locomotive engineer or theatre technician. Just had to drop Chem 20 so I could keep my theatre option open. Why would I want to be a physics prof. anyway?

Been in printing for over 20 years also a strong fabricating background.
I can machine it, bend it, weld it, build it, crate it, ship it, fly out after it, install it, and show you how to run it.

I own a 4x4 fabrication shop. One man band so iIdo it all.

I get a giggle now when I am at the counter with a customer and they eye a Model Railroader sticking out of my tool box behind me. I usually get some kinda comment. Surprisngly, it usually turns into a train swapping story with the cstomer telling me about "his trains when" when he was a kid

I missed the first questions so here goes;

I live just outside Indianapolis, IN. and I'm 39 years old.

And now for the current question;

I am the head of the service dept. for Indiana Telephone Co. (Yeah, I know, it's a fun job what with all those cheery people and their telephone issues, but someone has to do it!)

My title depends on who the company is billing for my time. Last I saw, I was called "Aviation Specialist." I've been called "Senior Systems Engineer", "Air Traffic Control Subject Matter Expert", and several other less elaborate things with four letters that might get me banished from these boards. Even dabbled in Program Management, but couldn't stand the bureaucracy.

My niche is that I know Air Traffic Control (8 years with the FAA as a controller), know how computer systems are supposed to work, and work on projects that combine the two.

Given the current state of the FAA and the airline industry, no wonder I like trains!

What I do now will probably not be my career forever. Its just something close to where I live and the work isnt all that bad. I work in the Meat Department for Economizer IGA in Lake Panasoffkee. It's just a little store that is well known for its quality meat. It's just a job for the time being. I'm just 18 and I just graduated so it's just temporary.

Alive and well in Kelowna B.C., Canada.
A young and vigorous 36 (ancient, according to my kids!).
Here's a new job for the list: cab driver, night shift, 10 years.

I'm the resident "train guy" at the cab company and I've been asked to give metered tours of the local (and not-so-local) railroad sites of interest. It's great when you can bring your hobby to work or in this case bring your work to your hobby.

It's also a great way to chase trains when you're new to the city, I've done it myself when on vacation. Just ask for a driver who loves trains, there's always one, at least, and they can show you things you might never find on your own.

I'm an 18 year old, soon to be 19, college freshman. I work for the school district I just graduated from as a summer custodian. They hire 3 graduates to work at each of the 3 buildings in the district during the summer.

I'm going to school for marketing and business administration. Hopefully I''ll find a job after that in the front office of a sports team. After about 2-3 years at WSU I plan to transfer to UW- Madison for sports marketing. If anything I'd gladly come back to the town/area I live in right now and find a job with a local company, hopefully.

We'll see though, being only 18 a lot can change quickly.

20+ years of pulling wrenches on automobiles, (and racing them, too!) [:)]

Now I get to play with toys for a living! I opened a hobby shop/ slot car raceway almost 3 years ago. Most fun I ever had in a job! [:D]

Sorry, when I used to play with slot cars, I put a pin on both ends, that way I could run backwards. Never been to Atlanta, though was offered a job at a large hosting company once.

You mean there is a professional slot car racer named David Thurman? Wow! Wait until I tell my daughter, she already thinks I am a nerd...[8D]

[:D] He,he...Oh well, thought it might'v been a case of "Small World Syndrome". David the slot racer was a pretty good friend/ customer/ nice guy who just kinda vanished from these parts, and I thought it mighta been you, since many of us have "cross hobby" related interests.

...off price for clothing and apparel. Its pretty good for city building prototypes. I work in the garment district of manhattan, so i can see the details and little unnoticed details in a city line. I do not have a layout set up anymore, but i do build dioramas from time to time. When you can't operate, detail for a still scene is a must!

Dispatcher/operater for a large electrical cooperative here in Missouri. Been doing this for eight years but was in the grocery business for twenty years prior as a meatcutter. Model railroading has been good therapy for carpal tunnel! Only thing I miss is picking out my own steaks!

Pharmacist for 18 years. As far as retirement goes, it sounds nice but they will probably have to bury behind the counter.
