Shy do I need to "log in" so often?

I check the various posts on a daily basis from two separate computers. Since I do not log off, why is it necessary to re log in every so often?

Do you, or a program installed on your computer(s), delete cookies? If so, that's why. If there's no cookie set, our system can't recognize you.

Bruce, you have your computer set to reject cookies, or to delete them at some point.

Click on 'Tools", at the top left, and then on "Internet Options". Click on the "Privacy" tab, and you will see a 'slide' that is used to adjust your settings. Mine is set at the fourth indent from the top, the fourth pair of little lines. See if that helps (BTW, I am running XP).

BB: Also, make sure that you have 'checked' the box that asks if you want the web site to "remember" your logon....I never have to log on to the MR site, unless I clear my cookies and temp files.
