drawings done by Al Armitage in Mainline Modler of an IHB 0-8-0 while quite complete and detailed omitted three circular features surround by rivets on the left front end of the tender shown in some accompanying prototype pictures .
Does anyone have an idea of what they were?
Thanks
Allan

They are on what appears to be the builders pictures as well as a later picture when it had been in service for a while. There is something there
