Here's a self-painted, unfinished Kato SD40 of mine. It is one of a handful of Conrail units that will be MU'ed with my CSX motive power. Hopefully within the next six months I'll actually have a layout to run it on...!

No models of big Blue but I have taken some real shots over the years.Here's a couple. This shot is at Lake New York near Buffalo. This shotis at Marion Ohio. Like I said I don't model Conrail but a few modern/ now historic shots for prosparity aren't a bad thing. Enjoy Rob

The only active conrail on my layout. Its a SD40-2 hiding behind a U30B, note the floating cab due to the speaker ![V]



This is a project Im working on , a P2K Penn Central GP30 , converted into a Conrail. It will get the CR patch job, then sold on EBAY.

I took this in Denver just last week (5/24/2005). Surprised me on several counts. One was the excellent condition of the units and their paint.
These are north bound having just crossed the Platte River.
