No, Thank YOU for what you do for the rest of us.

To paraphrase part of an article I heard quoted today, it is you guys who are the true heroes and worthy of being looked to as role models, not these glitzy Hollywood stars who earn megabucks salaries for memorizing a few lines.
I wish I could find a link to the whole article.

I heartily agree with Randy. Duce, if I were to meet you face-to-face, I'd give you a hearty handshake, a big bear hug, and an even bigger "Thank you!" from me and for all of us.

Glad you are back home, and accept my thanks for your efforts.
There once was one "Hollywood type" who really was a hero. Maybe the biggest hero ever. Audie Murphy. Little Texas was the real deal. I met him once and you'd never meet a nicer guy.
What could have happened.... did.

Of coarse we are just as you all did when I was there for the first Persian Gulf war. I was there on the U.S.S Wisconsin BB- 64 So I had it better than a lot but still I went ashore To the troops With Baked goods a couple of times and they sure enjoyed and were glad to see me. [C=:-)](I was a baker) I took 1000 doughnuts ashore one day for a group of about 400 they disapeared in about 20 minutes. Makes you feel good. But I liked doing thibgs like that. and I went where we were required to have flack jakets on and all . I could here shooting in the distance.

Any way from all the previous military and for those who didn't for what ever reason

THANK - YOU [^][bow] [2c][tup]

Thanks, Duce. We appreciate your sacrifice, and even more that that, we're glad you're back on this side of the ocean.

Most of us are fed up with the garbage and attitude of our main stream press reporting. There are lots of us ( I dare say most) who are 100% behind you guys. How it can be a bad idea that all the human garbage of life is rushing to Iraq to fight our guys who have and know how to use some serious weaponry rather than blow civilians here. Well done and tell your buddies so. Norm Bell

The US military keeping the terrorists busy in the Middle East has prevented anything from happening here since 2001.

I'm afraid I would never have the guts to do what you've done Duce, but I'm sure glad that some guys do. Thanks for keeping me free by doing what I would be afraid to do myself.

Duce, let me add the sincere thanks of a non American to the list. The World owes you all a debt of gratitude, even if most politicians outside of the US don't appreciate it!

Duce,
I can only add to what's already been said by adding my sincere thanks to you and all who have served. It is because of folks like you that we can enjoy all the blessings God has bestowed upon this country of ours while maintaing our freedom. Our freedom came at a great price, and it is due to the diligent efforts of the men and women serving in our armed forces that we can sit back in our easy chairs and enjoy life here. The efforts of these men and women will never be forgotten as long as I have anything to do about it. Thank you to all who are serving or have served in the past. You all are my heroes!

P.S. Ditto what Virginian said about Audie Murphy. He will always be a true class act.
