Hello CSXTrains23 (Keith)

Cool poll.

I hope the guys gave you a "Welcome Aboard" when you joined, recently. I model Seaboard Coast Line, one of CSX's ancestors. However, I picked Southern in your poll since I'm also a fan of that road. The quality that has made me appreciate the Southern was that even after the railroads were able to "dump" their passenger trains in 1971 to Amtrak, the Southern continued to operate their "Hot Shot" passenger train, the Southern Crescent, until 1979.

Keith,

I hope you don't mind my making a friendly suggestion. It's up to you, but on your profile, in the "More about me" category, please consider cleaning up your phrase about people's rear ends a bit. [;)]

Cheers and 10-4![8D][4:-)][C):-)]

I like Southern. My great-grandad was an engineer on the Southern, Back when it was steam and transition. I agree with spacemouse, I don't like UP. Don't know why, it could be because I had two UP loco's give up the ghost [:(!][:(]. All for now! [8D][tup]

I put the D&H because the colors are awesome(they should get some C420s, and some C628s and repaint them in the D&H lightning stripe scheme)I was suprised PRR, the Reading, and the LV were not on your poll, they are the great eastern roads, and i also like the N&W

I voted for Norfolk & Western, since they had a branch line near where I grew up (an ex-NKP line), but overall, my vote would split between Penn Central and Monon.

I would have to say Erie Lackawanna. There's just something so...industrial and blue collar about it. I really like switchers so it seems to make sense that the EL would appeal to me. If I were to switch from modeling the NYC to another railroad, the EL would be in my top 3: EL, AC&Y, and probably C&O.

Well, I voted Santa Fe, but I also model Union Pacific. I also like Missouri Pacific, Wabash, Southern Pacific, Western Pacific, Pennsylvania, New York Central, Lehigh Valley, Rutland, and on and on. I model UP and ATSF. I like all of the above and many, many more. I guess we need one of those polls where we can "select as many as apply".

Cheers

You asked what name we like not what company or color scheme.

Eire Lackawanna is cool no mater how you look at it. sound sort of Native American.

I don't care for UP and I don't know why I don't want their engines.

You might say I have an .Eire Lackawanna

(I can't believe you left out Hogwarts Freight and Ferry.)
