I have a web article about making ferns from feathers. When I did the article it was winter and had to take a picture off the internet for the real fern. There have been several questions of the veracity of chartruese for fern color and fineness of the frounds.. Here is a fern from the backyard:
Here are my model ferns:
Those are 1/8 diameter dowels and I model in O scale. The feathers cannot be repainted easily or foamed easily. There are also olive colored feathers for the chartruese haters.
