Atlas -under table- switch machines are semi-'invisible' versions of their table top twin coils.

Most of today's power paks cannot throw two successfully at the same time, and people complain about their adjustment difficulties.

I think the benefit is too slight, for the added expense. Other's may hold different views.

Tortoise machines are most popular, but reqire revamping your swich'es electrical system - Atlas momentary buttons, and DC requirements, for example.

RIX switch machines and undertable mount's are compatible with your present electrical system. You can also do one at a time.

Atlas under table work fine if you add a simple capacitive discharge circuit to the buss that feeds them. www.awrr.com has a schematic/parts list for one that I used that worked well for me.

Automotive choke cables and knobs. Or similar mechanical means.

My preference is a toggle spring built into the turnout like Peco uses, and hand throwing the turnout as I walk around with the train. It is easy to make a similarily function spring for any turnout (Atlas, etc).

Why spend the money on electrical switch machines?
