Best way to connect cade 83 track?

Well, I am interested in hearing how people connect cade 83 track to one and another. I know its a silly questions but its these kind of things that keep me from using stuff like this, ~grins sheepishly~

I just use the rail joiners supplied by the makers. If you are joining to, say code 100 track, Atlas make transition joiners to facilitate the change in rail height. If electrical continuity is an issue, you should either join each track element to a bus wire, i.e. a heavy duty continuous feed wire from your controller, or consider soldering each connection in a permanent layout . Its great track, and looks good, but check with a sample piece that your rolling stock wheels have sufficient flange clearance.Some older rollingstock and some European trains may not like code 83 due to their deeper flanges. I have found that the transition from peco code 75 to atlas code 83 is imperceptible...a bonus for me !

[#ditto] on lyctus's reply. I presume from your question that you have been set up with section track with the roadbed built into it and are considering flex-track. If so, the rail joiners will have to be purchased as the flex-track does not come with them like sectional track. Ken

I use Atlas N scale rail joiners. I take a 3-4 in piece of Atlas C83 rail and taper the base and web slightly so it goes into the N rail roiner easily. I put the rail joiner on that rail first then it slips on the flex track more easily.
